Lower Kindergarten is one of the major stages in a kid’s, or rather a student’s life. While it might be the initial stage of their school education and learning, it is one that is amongst the most important. The things students get to learn there are what they carry with them for years to come.
LKG is attended by the students at such a tender age when they are extra curious about things. It is only then that they can be taught the numbers, alphabets, etc. that will stick with them throughout their life. This is also the time in a kid’s life when they come up with more of their creativity, with their brains at a developing stage.
Importance of Lower Kindergarten
In various countries including India, it comes to the utmost importance for a kid to attend LKG. The standard is not just to learn the alphabet and numbers, but many other activities as well. Such activities may include many ranging from skipping a rope to identifying a shape.
With their brains still at a developing stage, it is very much likely for them to grasp many of the things that they are taught. This is not only great for their academic growth, but also for their overall development. In India, the kids also learn the very art of social interactions that can help in the future as well.
Activities in Kindergarten
Along with the studies, the kids in Kindergarten are also introduced to many activities outside of the Class. These are good for a child to be exposed to in order to keep them active. Such things paired with some discipline here and there mold a child greatly for a greater future.
